Sequestration Mining Claim is an Earth Art project that reintroduces native seeds to land that has been over grazed by cattle. The mining claim process is significant because it subverts a traditionally extractive process and allows me, the artist, to pose as a miner and restore the land 'used' in mining processes. Proceeds from NFT sales directly benefit this project and the acquisition of other claims.
