Jeffrey Erwin is an interdisciplinary artist working in Gunnison Colorado. Erwin’s work explores the cross section of Art and Science often creating obscure objects that reference extraction, imagine regenerative methods, and/or engage the public. Erwin has exhibited Nationally and Internationally in Scotland, New York, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and New Jersey. Selected venues include: The University of St. Andrews, Chelsea New York’s “Vault”, El Paso Museum of Art, New Mexico State University, Western Colorado University, and Adams State University. Erwin has been published in New Jersey based Carrier Pigeon’s Volume 4 Issue 3, Las Cruces Sun News, Gunnison Times, Pathfinder Magazine, and interviewed live on KTAL Radio for Southern New Mexico. Erwin received an M.F.A. from New Mexico State University and has collaborated with ecologists, geographers, astronomers, and artists, at New Mexico State University, University of St. Andrews, and Western Colorado University.
